Burden

To feel so empty inside, a feeling so strong it captures your breath from deep in your soul. A mind altering feeling that won’t let go. My legs begin to shake with every step I take, my knees start to burn, my feet begin to break. My shoulders can’t take much more, my back is about to blow out the door. This burden of worry is taking its toll, where have I been, where do I go. Do I believe my dreams, does it show. Do I settle for less or try for more. The future holds the answer, the truth lies within. Follow your heart, don’t carry the burden of worry, our days are numbered this life is too short.
