Guide Me ~

The still of the night, not a sound in sight, did time stop, did the moon drop. I’m stiff as I lay calm with my eyes to the sky, the sparkle of the stars flicker across my eyes. Tears begin to flow like a river as I crave to be whole again. Push and pull, my emotions are on a roller coaster high, breaks begin to smoke as I depress my fear deep within my soul, will this stop, is it out of control? My heart pumps with love so strong, no where to go, my veins are maxed with pressure, my thoughts so scattered, frozen solid as I sweep up the shattered pieces that lie below. Endless possibilities just a dream away, will I live to my fullest potential, teach me, guide me, like a light house to a boat, I want to be that man I am predestined to be.
