Imagine ~

Take me far away to a place where dreams always come true, where magic is the norm and the oceans are crystal green instead of blue. Take me to where the earth pulls the rain from the sky when a tress roots are thirsty and dry, take me to where the sands below my feet radiate a shadow at every step, leaving permanent imprints of my heart beat behind. Teach me how to live and survive in this life that lies ahead, teach me how to forgive and forget, to grow skin that is thick and to shed the thin. Teach me how to be independent in my thoughts and in my movements through time, teach me to walk across pain and over fear and how to not love at the drop of a dime. Take me to a place where my reflection isn’t broken by the views of others walking by, take me to a place that is judgment free, where we are happy to just feel alive and believe.
